The northern coast of California is among the most beautiful regions in the United States. Rocky cliffs tower above the Pacific where seals and otters frolic in the surf. Giant redwoods stand magnificently along trails with breathtaking views of mountains and coastline. San Francisco, one of everyone's favorite cities, offers a blend of cultures, arts and activities for travelers to enjoy.

We begin our adventure by crossing the Golden Gate Bridge and traveling north to Point Reyes National Seashore. We will hike trails with vistas of crashing waves and sheer cliffs to the sea and spend a morning sea kayaking along the coast in beautiful Marin County.

While based in Capitola By The Sea we will hike into stands of old growth redwoods and to Natural Bridges State Park where migratory monarch butterflies can be found flying amidst the eucalyptus trees. One of our hikes takes us to a picturesque trail in Big Basin State Park with non-stop views to the Pacific. A great itinerary in a magnificent locale!

Trip begins and ends in San Francisco.

Cost: $1895
