Message From Debbie
We had a fabulous adventure in Belize! Along with a stay in the jungle we visited two very different small cayes. One had little development and I managed to spend most of one day in a hammock finishing up a detective novel I found in my room. The other, with three main sand roads used primarily by pedestrians and golf carts, provided a bit more action (but not much!). We boated to some great snorkeling sites or just swam off the beach and checked out the marine life. The food was fantastic, I'm still missing it.
If you are interested in any of our upcoming adventures please let me know. This year I have given up hotel rooms or cancelled trips only to have people contact me that wanted to join us, but by then it was too late, very disappointing because we have great trips planned.

Shenandoah National Park
Shenandoah National Park has over 500 miles of trails, including 101 miles of the Appalachian Trail. Some trails lead to a waterfall or viewpoint or penetrate deep into the forest and wilderness. We will hike along a section of the AT as we go from lodge to lodge in the park. August 21-25
Jet Paws
In December Jet Blue rolled out a new program called JetPaws that's designed to improve the experience of flying with pets. It's for small dogs that can fly in the cabin with passengers. Best of all your pooch helps you earn mileage points!

Manatees & More!
There is nothing quite like looking into the eyes of a creature like a manatee. Crystal River is a breeding ground for West Indian Manatees. In the winter months they come inland in search of the warmer water in the bays for breeding, and Crystal River is fed by more than thirty natural springs which keep the water at a constant 72 degrees. You'll learn about these gentle giants as you swim among them. What a thrill that will be!
December 19-23, 2009
An added benefit to this trip is that you can escape from the pre-holiday insanity!
Get Ready For Summer
